Grant summarizes how to promote originality, in others and in oneself well. He presents his ideas clearly in language suitable for all adult readers. While I do not disagree with any of his points, they seem to draw on a body of research and findings shared by many similar personal development books favored by entrepreneurs (Mastery, Outliers, Influence… ). I wish this work included more original ideas or research to make it more memorable (akin to Greene’s Mastery). It is might have been nice, for example, to read about a less broad topic related to originality and creativity, though that would have shrunken his target market (less money for publishers). In short, I think it is a worthwhile read for those who have not already read several books in this genre. Those who have might be looking for something a bit deeper.
