This series has all the pieces of a YA Fantasy from the post-Hunger Games. Not that it’s a bad thing. I enjoyed this book, and I’ve enjoyed the series so far. At times, I feel like it’s too long, like the narration could use a bit of editorial snipping, and I’ve taken breaks between each book. But the series is good. I’ll get around to reading the last one. Eventually.
