Samuel –
I chose this after reading every marathon book in my city library. I started at the appendix with the training plan which I followed religiously and when it referred to sections in this book or chi running, I would read those. I carried this around for five months. I admit it was a bit hard to follow, I think he’s a coaching genius not a writer. I had dramatic results though and a no regrets first marathon! My dream time was 4:10 marathon, but since I had chronic shin pain I was looking at 5hrs to run/walk. I actually healed my shins with this type of running and easily finished at 3:55.
